Question Number: 23777Kicks From The Penalty mark 8/15/2010RE: Competive Professional Abdul Rasheed Khan of Karachi, Sindh Pakistan asks...The new wording of Law 14 (PENALTY KICK) now reads: 'Feinting in the run-up to take a penalty kick to confuse opponents is permitted, however, feinting to kick the ball once the player has completed his run-up is now considered an infringement of Law 14 and an act of unsporting behaviour for which the player must be cautioned.' My question is: if the ball will went into the net from feinting player, it is under stood that he will be cautioned and re-taken will be ordered. But if the same player will repeat such feinting. Will he get RED Card and will his penalty kick will be removed from penalty shoot out session or someone else will take it to complete the schedule five kicks of his team ? Answer provided by Referee Gary Voshol If a player is foolish enough to repeat his unsporting behavior, he will be sent off for receiving a second caution in the match (or if he already was sitting on a caution). Since he will no longer be around to retake the kick, another eligible member of his team will take the kick. If all other eligible players have already taken a kick, then any of them may take a second kick.
