Question Number: 23510Law 8 - Start and Restart of Play 6/20/2010RE: comp Under 15 alec of amarillo , tx randall asks...If you hit the ref with the ball and it goes out of bounds who gets the ball? Answer provided by Referee Michelle Maloney Since the ball left the field last touched by the player who threw the ball, the throw-in, corner kick, kick off or goal kick will be taken by the other team. The referee doesn't count as a 'player' for purposes of any of the Laws.
