Question Number: 21423Other 5/27/2009RE: Select Adult Jeanne Turner of Mount Shasta, Ca USA asks...I have known Major Chuckle for about 15 years through the CNRA ref program. I worked with him on many games and his attention to detail was amazing. I live a long distance from the CNRA meetings,so I would call up Major Chuck and see if there was room at his 'motel', home for a visitor. He was always and gentleman. Major Chuck was also a very good gourmet cook. Another plus for staying with him. I live in the small town of Mt. Shasta and driving in the big city always made me nervous. I was VERY grateful that Chuck would always drive to the meetings. When ever I had a ref question I would go straight to Major Chuck. He was a good friend and a wonderful ref colleague. I enjoyed hearing referee stories and war stories from his service days. He was an fascinating man. I called to see how he was doing the morning he lost the battle. I will miss him GREATLY. I know he is in a better place. His, Yo from the Snow, soccer buddy, Jeanne Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson Chuck will indeed be missed by many. Cheers
