Question Number: 21238Other 4/29/2009RE: U-10 Rec to Adult Other Val Garza of Cathedral City, California United States asks...Whether answering a simple question or dealing with a complex issue, Ref Fleischer always demonstrated his joy of sharing his knowledge and insights about officiating. He has left us a legacy of inspiration for all of us to follow. Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson Ref Fleischer remains forever an outstanding contributor to the game. As a colleague I must say few have influenced me in such a positive way. He was steadfast and to the point. Witty if at times caustic, he was on point with evaluation and details not letting things like petulance for mediocrity by those asking from trying to instill excellence into their thinking. Whether you loved, admired or found him churlish or insensitive he was always out to instill the best in everyone! Whether they chose to see it that way or not was their choice which he respected if not agreed with! Cheers
