Question Number: 18727Law 10 - Method of Scoring 4/8/2008RE: Recreation Under 11 Brad Ahl of Windsor, CO USA asks...If my son is dribbling the ball towards the opponents goal, can he score a goal, even if his final kick comes within the goal crease, as long as the goalie does not challenge him and take the ball away? This past week he needed one more dribble to get to his strong foot, but thought he couldn't enter the crease, so he kicked with his weak foot and missed the goal. Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino Brad, this isn't hockey. There is no "crease" on the soccer field. Your son is free to kick the ball from anywhere on the field of play.
